DECISIONS: Making a decision is
work. I always offer Mom choices whenever possible. She often says “ it doesn’t
matter.” and of course it probably doesn’t. That’s not the point. I insist.
“Choose!” It takes more time to get her to choose which candy, which socks,
which movie but as often as I can stand it I make her choose. There is a subtle
response in her after making a choice. She is often more invested, behaves more
interested after she has chosen something.
