We went to soda machine and got her a Dr. Pepper. She drank it greedily. We sat on the covered porch awhile then went to the Dining room II for games. Mom did not want to play. Annie invited Mom to play the piano so I accompanied her to the piano. Mom insisted that couldn’t play. With some effort I got her to fool with the piano some. She still demonstrates skill. The Hospice social worker, Peg Maupin, stopped by and we visited some, away from Mom’s hearing. I accompanied Mom back to her room. We looked at photos. Today she didn’t know or refused? To identify her children and struggled to identify her sisters and parents. I told Nurse Diane I would like to paint her portrait and we made an appointment.
