RING CURTAINS

Geraldine made many rings over the years. We strung them up with tapestry thread and bamboo curtains
and made wall hangings or curtains out of the rings. Some of the curtains have paper mache birds also.

She also made paper mache masks. She was good with paper mache and paint. We used a homemade recipe of rice flour paste, cook and stirred plus newspaper.

SOLD, DONE, CLOSED

Granny Gerri's mobile home went with the property. On April 2, we closed and it is done. Who knows what is next in any adventure. Inside those walls, one can get a glimpse of human brilliance, angst and pain. Unique in a manufactured world.

SERENDIPITY

Ramp and Front door to Mobile Home

Living room with boxes

Looking to the Right
I discovered why I never could find a title to the mobile home in Mom's papers. I discovered a lot of papers belonging to my brother CrazyCarl. According to tax documents The mobile home is in CrazyCarl's name. It is his! Now he is trying to get it, as salvage. He thinks he has a place to move it to.

April 1, 2015 is CrazyCarl Hickerson Day in Austin Texas. A coincidence because of the movie from Beef and Pie Productions about him.

March 31, 2015 is the closing on the property.

Serendipity.

PHOTOGRAPHS BY RICK PATRICK

Rick had a wide angle lens, lights, beautiful camera and a lot of energy. He got some beautiful photographs of the interior of the mobile home. We did some pushing around of boxes and furniture to get something of the look of the art in situ.
